There’s It’s a Knockout and there’s THE It’s a Knockout !!

Compton Hospice have teamed up with Off Limits, who own and operate the original props and games that were part of the genuine BBC Television programme.

Its a Knockout events are a great way letting off steam, leaving you with a day which will never be forgotten. The event is an excellent way of breaking the ice between company departments, boosting morale and having fun.

Now it’s time to get out of your armchair and be one of the teams taking part in the real thing. We have a compere who will host the event, providing an added touch of ‘Stuart Hall’ humour and nostalgia to the event.

Everyone will initially take part in a highly amusing warm up to ensure that everyone gets into the mood for the event. Teams then compete head to head with the opposing teams in all of the highly hilarious games.

Each team will compete in every game trying to maximise their score before moving on to their next game.

It's a Knockout ~ The Games

SUPER SUDS

This is a game full of foam fun! Each team member must enter the giant washing machine in turn. As you fight through the foam, you must collect socks from the fantastic inflatable washing machine and peg them on the washing line.




FE! - FI! - FO! - FALL!

In this frantic event, participants climb inside a 10ft Giant costume complete with giant shoes. The giant’s progress is hampered by the fact that the conveyer belt is moving backwards and forwards and operated by the opposing teams.




ALL HANDS ON DECK

Teams must work in perfect nautical harmony as you work together to transport each sailor across the turbulent waters safely to the other side. The sailor must collect a variety of nautical items along the way.



SLIPPERY SUMMIT

There “ain’t no mountain high enough” ! In an attempt to recreate Hannibal’s exploits, you’ll be required to get your anchorman to the top and then get the whole team over the foam-covered mountain to the other side.




BIRD CAGE RAGE

The team have to transport pieces of a birds nest through a large inflatable window. They then must then assemble the nest. It is then the turn of the final person dressed as a 7ft budgie to be the first to sit comfortably on the nest.




MEDIEVAL MADNESS

The whole team form a human chain standing on pedestals and wet sponges are passed down the line. The last person in the team must catapult the sponges over the castle wall to their team mate who will squeeze all the water into a container.

We are looking for teams of 8 people to raise a minimum of of £960 per team.
